Founder Joni Siegel believes nature gives us all the tools we need to heal what ails us and to live healthy and prosperous lives. Equally important, she believes science must be explored in order to fully understand these natural remedies and how best to utilize them. In our family, we’ve seen hundreds and hundreds of examples of how this amazing salve has healed all sorts of things from third degree burns, to diabetic foot sores, bed sores, gangrene, surgical infections and much more. But it’s not enough to simply ‘believe’ our salve is effective. It is our job to prove it.
We believe it is our mission to make our salve available to everyone on the planet using the purest ingredients available with the gentlest environmental footprint possible, and to help reduce the global mis-use of antibiotics.

I just returned from the first annual Environmental Toxins and Genomics Conference in Denver, CO.
Speakers included Neal Nathan MD, Joseph Merolca, DO, Stephanie Seneff, PhD, Jill Carnahan, MD, Lari Young, MD, Sandeep Gupta, MD, Robert Miller, Emily Givler and Mackay Rippey.
Topics included:
EMF and NADPH-Dangers of EMF and how it can
affect our metabolic processes
Phase 1 Detox and the CYP Enzymes and how
genetic weaknesses can have a profound effect on health
Autophagy and M-tor
Glyphosate and how it impacts the critical Phase
II pathway of sulfation
Glucuronidation and the importance of this detox
pathway, the genetic involvement and support for these issues.
The conference focused on how Functional Genomic Analysis(DNA analysis) can help identify how our genetic makeup can make us more susceptible to toxins in the environment and how we can support our body to deal with these exposures.
Support of metabolic pathways, taking each of our unique
genetic makeup into consideration was discussed in-depth.
Analyzing DNA helped explain why many people have multiple chemical sensitivities and why some therapies work for some but others feel worse.
We are in control of our epigenetics (diet, lifestyle, stress, toxic exposures, diet, exercise etc.) and these have a profound effect on our health and healing.
Using a full analysis of our DNA along with lab testing can help us understand why some people have severe health issues due to toxins in the environment and their lifestyles and why the body may be having issues processing these chemicals due to our unique genetic makeup. This was extensively discussed and thoughts on how to help people with compromised detoxification due to their exposure and genetic makeup was also discussed.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information on how to explore you DNA and epigenetics and how this can help you understand your health.
Please take about 2 minutes and watch this excellent video.
Your diet is only as good as your digestion. This means that even though you are eating healthy, nutrient dense food, you may not be absorbing all the great nutrients in the meal.
We need to digest, break down the food we eat to release the nutrients that the body needs to function optimally. Poor digestion can lead to many common symptoms:
gas, bloating
constipation, diarrhea
lack of energy
skin issues
reflux
food sensitivities
There are many digestive enzyme blends on the market and you need to choose the right blend for you and your diet.
Some examples of diets that require different enzyme mixes includes Keto, Paleo, high protein, vegetarian.
Here is short video discusses the benefits of enzymes and helps you choose the proper enzyme blend to use.
Dr. Gary discusses Eczema with Joni Siegel, president and founder of PUREMEDY. They discuss the diet and lifestyle choices that can lead to eczema, and offer thoughts on how to correct these imbalances.
Also discussed are the clinical studies that validate the the great results achieved with PUREMEDY ECZEMA SALVE.
NADH-nicotinamide adeneine dinucleotide is the biologically active form of niacin (B3). It acts as a biological spark, igniting cellular energy. Therefore, a persons NADH level is vital to good health.
The “H” in NADH stands for high-energy hydrogen and indicates that this substance is in the most biologically active form.
NADH Acid Resistant Caps
NADH supports the recycling of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant and vital for detoxification. After glutathione neutralizes a free radical, it needs to be recharged, recycled. NADH plays a important role in this process and explains why NADH is a vital nutrient.
If glutathione levels are low due to variants in your DNA (SNPS) and/or your body has produces excess peroxynitrite (which needs glutathione to neutralize it), NADH may be very helpful.
NADH is called Co-enzyme 1
A co-enzyme is a substance that enhances or is necessary for the action of all enzymes in the body. NADH is often referred to as Co-enzyme 1. It is the body’s top-ranked co enzyme, a facilitator of many biological reactions. NADH is necessary for cellular development and energy production. It is essential to producing energy from food and is the principal carrier of electrons in the energy producing process in the cells.
NADH, BH4 and neurotransmitters
When we look a bit deeper into our metabolic pathways and how our genetics may affect these pathways, we see the NADH is important to the conversion of BH2 to BH4. BH4 is needed for the production of neurotransmitters and to support the conversion of arginine into nitric oxide.
Low BH4 will cause more peroxynitrite to be produced while less serotonin and dopamine will be produced making BH4 critical for well being. .
NADH-an important antioxidant
NADH is also an important antioxidant; in fact, scientists acknowledge that NADH is the most powerful antioxidant to protect cells from damage by harmful substances.
This supplement may help reduce fatigue by increasing the amount of energy available in the body due to it’s action as a co-factor, assisting many metabolic processes work more efficiently.
NADH deficiencies can result in an energy deficit at the cellular level, which causes symptoms of fatigue. When the body is deficient in NADH, it is like a car that has run out of gasoline.
Unfortunately, the production and recycling of NADH in our bodies declines as we age. The production of NADH-dependent enzymes, particularly those enzymes involved in energy production also decreases with age.
Please feel free to contact me (e-mail; drgaryk@drgaryk.com) for more information about how NADH may be helpful for you.
Dr. Gary talks with Michael Lovich about concussions, the lasting damage and what you can do to help the brain heal.
Michael had suffered from multiple concussions as a child, and the lasting effects had a negative effect on his life through college. He now is a chiropractor who specializes in helping people heal their brain and get back into balance.
Here is a link to a podcast with Maureen Nuccitelli.
Maureen Nuccitelli has come a long way in the world of organizing and consulting. In fact, in her youth she was pretty disorganized. What changed? What happened? Well for one thing, it’s a “pain in the arse” being disorganized. Being disorganized sucks up way too much time, effort and money. Sound familiar? She’d had enough. So she made a concerted effort to learn all there was to know about organizing, de-cluttering, efficiency and productivity.
This was her new life’s mission. And guess what? She started to learn new habits, new ways and new tools—all in the pursuit of knowing everything about organizing. Then as the years went by she started to help others with their organizing challenges. She taught them how to be more organized. Woa! You mean you can learn how to be organized? You bet your life, Sista and Brotha!
Maureen helped clients, friends and family; she taught classes; wrote newsletters and articles; and was quoted on blogs and websites. She lived and breathed all things related to organizing. It became her passion. Then one day, a friend referred to her as “The Organizing Diva”. Given her sassy attitude about life, Maureen accepted the title with relish and a wink. “Let’s have some fun” she thought.
But wait a minute, could learning to be organized be fun and and not so stressful—well at least some of the time? Of course it can! How about a little humor when life gets crazy? How about the fact that we’re all in this together and we’re here to support each other? How about while we’re laughing, we roll up our sleeves and learn how to do things differently?
